| Morning walks with Dad |
Anyway, things seem to be settling down a bit: apparently I'm sleeping for a bit more time, and Mom's OK with it. So I thought I'd tell you about my typical day.
Well, if I wake up and it's still really dark and I'm feeling pretty tired, then I just eat and go right back to sleep. After all, it's hard to play when you can't see anything.
| Bath time! |
In the morning (at least that's what Mom calls it), I wake up and eat, then Dad takes me on a walk around the garden. He's got lots of trees out there and sometimes he waters them with me. I usually hang out, look around, and sometimes nap a bit before he brings me back inside and puts me to bed. And then I sleep (maybe Mom was on to something about babies needing sleep?).
For the rest of the time while its light, I usually sleep, eat, and play: sometimes Mommy and I talk and sing, other times I play on my play mat (you know, the one with all the brightly-colored bugs that hang down?), sometimes Mom lets me sit in my chair and just look around, sometimes we visit neighbors or friends, and sometimes we go on walks. And sometimes I get to take a bath (still one of my favorite things!).
In the evenings, Mommy, Daddy, and I sometimes go visit people, sometimes we go walk around different parts of Amman, and sometimes we just hang out at home . . . but once it's dark again, I'm usually ready to sleep again. At least for a while--until it's time to eat again!
So . . . I may not know a whole lot about time, but at seven weeks I can tell you that whatever it is, I still manage to have a pretty good time of it!
